Salt Lake City has opened the first of four new trailheads offering better access to its foothills trail systems, as it picks back up on a foothills plan that hit a snag in 2021.

Salt Lake City unveiled a brand new trailhead at Bonneville Boulevard, and it is the first milestone in the city’s 2020 Foothills plan that aims to expand trail networks and access.
