The US for Success Coalition and NAFSA have launched an advocacy campaign urging Congress to demand the State Department immediately resume visa appointments.

The US State Department ordered diplomatic posts around the world to “resume processing” of Harvard University student and exchange visitor visas on Friday after a judge halted President Donald Trump’s latest attempt to block international students from coming to the institution.

Trump had cited national security concerns as justification for barring foreign students from entering the U.S. to pursue studies at the Ivy League school.
