The search for seven escaped inmates in New Orleans has entered its third day after a total of 10 inmates escaped from the Orleans Parish Jail early Friday. Three of the 10 have been captured. There are indications the prisoners had help from “inside of our department,” the Orleans Parish sheriff said. Three employees are on leave, and an investigation is underway.
