Even though they got the win, the Rockies are still historically terrible. They sit at just 11-50, which is by far the worst record in baseball. They were swept 10 times through their first 20 series of the season, which is tied for the most at that point in a season in MLB history. They fired manager Bud Black after a 7-33 start.

Of course, the Rockies remain on pace to be the worst team in baseball history. They are on pace to lose 133 games this year, easily clearing the 121 games the Chicago White Sox lost last year. That is the modern record. The Rockies need to go 31-70 the rest of the way to finish with a better record than last year's White Sox.
