New York Mets slugger Juan Soto has been at the center of discussion around the baseball world over the past few days after his Mets team headed to Yankee Stadi

For Yankees fans, it was the ultimate validation of everything they said about him in the wake of his departure over the offseason. And they got even more validation on Monday morning, when reports began to swirl suggesting that Soto had already started feeling some buyer's remorse.

Although Soto said he was ready for the homecoming, he was shell shocked by the time Sunday night rolled around. Three sell-out crowds broke him. With only one hit in the Subway Series, Soto couldn’t have picked a worse time to slump. The army of Yankees loyalists crowned him as the new Jose Altuve.

But the Soto Subway Series did not include the star getting mic’d up for “Sunday Night Baseball,” which was the original plan. According to sources, the Mets star changed his mind prior to the game and was replaced by Brandon Nimmo.
