GasBuddy forecasts the average gallon of gas will sit at $3.02 over the summer, from Memorial Day to Labor Day, with a sub-$3 national average possible on some days. According to GasBuddy's survey, roughly 69% of Americans plan to take a road trip this summer, down roughly 10% from last year.
